For this service, we certify that our translators from English to Italian are native Italian speakers, proficient in English and knowledgeable of the English terms used in Philippine documents.

Regular translations of Philippine or Italian administrative, legal, business, and medical documents take 4 to 5 working days but a next working day urgent translation service is also accepted with a 50% added tariff over the regular cost.
Documents can be sent to us electronically or can be brought/shipped to our Translations Office in Makati, open from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (no break!).

Regarding Philippine Gov. Documents to be translated and used in Italy: ASSEVERAZIONE.
Effective January 20, 2020, the Italian Embassy in the Philippines is no longer issuing translation conformity certification for all those documents that will have to be used in Italy (e.g. request for Italian citizenship, or other documents required in Italy). These translations, in order to be considered “certified”, will have to undergo a procedure called “asseverazione” done by a professional translator at an Italian Court.
For translations needing “asseverazione”, the Philippine Italian Association has developed two packages:
1.) WORRY-FREE PACKAGE, applicable to all documents delivered to our office, which includes:
- Collecting documents to be translated and asseverated in our office;
- Sending the original document to Italy;
- Documentary stamps required by the Italian government;
- Translation and “Asseverazione” at an Italian Court (or equivalent) by a professional translator;
- Delivery of the translated document at any address in Italy.
2.) ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE, from Documents-Procurement to Asseverazione and delivery, which includes:
- Procurement of the document from PSA/NBI;
- Processing of the Apostille (of the procured documents) at the DFA;
- Sending the original document to Italy;
- Documentary stamps required by the Italian government;
- Translation and “Asseverazione” at an Italian Court (or equivalent) by a professional translator;
- Delivery of the translated document at any address in Italy.
In order to keep providing this ALL-INCLUSIVE translation services at unbeatable prices to the Italian and Filipino communities, the Philippine Italian Association has partnered with professional and certified translators in Italy.
The document’s certification procedure will be the following:
- The original document is sent to the translator in Italy
- The document is translated, and the translation is “sworn” at an Italian Court
- The original document, its translation and the “asseverazione” certificate is sent to the owner in Italy.

Legalization of Philippine documents: The Philippine APOSTILLE.
In 2019 the Department of Foreign Affairs ended the legalization of Philippine documents through “Red Ribbon” and started the legalization through Apostille. Philippine documents legalized through Apostille will be accepted by foreign Countries without the additional legalization by their respective Consular office in Manila. However, TRANSLATION to Italian will still be a requirement if the Philippine document(s) with Apostille will have to be used in Italy.
Translation conformity of documents translated in Manila will be certified by the Italian Consular Office for all those applications to be started at the Embassy of Italy. (For more information on the Philippine documents accepted by the Italian Consulate in Manila: https:ambmanila.esteri.it)
The translations of documents do be used in Italy will have to be ASSEVERATED.
