The PIA will join La nuit des idées/The night of ideas, organized by the Embassy of France and the Alliance Française at the Ayala Museum, on May 26. The event will be streamed on Facebook. The event is entitled Rebuild Together and will feature arts and cultural initiatives, originated during the first Lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic, and will focus on the original responses provided to the challenges of this long pandemic crisis,
From the Italian and Phil-Italian side, we will hear respectively from Fabia Bettini and Gianluca Giannelli (artistic directors of the Italian Film Festival MOVIEMOV) who will talk about Cinema da Casa/Finestre Resistenti and Alice nella Città, and Illac Diaz, founder of the NGO A Liter of Light, Isang Litrong Liwanag, who will talk about his social media campaign Light it Forward and his giant light installations in the Philippines and around the world.
